Halloween!!!

Man, I can't believe I missed out yesterday night to club! It's a Halloween event :( Grah, thanks to those stupid tests and essay that's due this coming week. Everything is in a rush right now and I could hardly catch my breath to keep up with this fast ongoing tempo. I'm now at RP again with some of my friends: Meiyin, Soofen, Xinyu, Fadelah and Tiong Boon to study/do our work.

It's Xinyun's birthday today! Happy birthday girl~ :) I gave her a small gift - a name tag.

~I'm sad that "it's" already taken :(

Stress Out!

When will this ever end? ~the pain, the torture, the stress, the depression, the sorrow, the undesirable shytload of work, tests, quizzes and *BOOMZ* exams pay for a visit. :( I don't like this feeling at all: PBL project, AED102 essay, Calculus, Algebra and Biodiversity quiz ALL on this coming Tuesday!!! Grah, why all together?!

Happy 22nd Birthday!

I woke up @ 10am in the morning and slowly went to shower, change and eat my brunch that my grandma bought over. I left my house at 11am and took a bus to Jurong Point with her where I sent her off at the train station and I myself decided to hang around in the arcade awhile first. It was still too early to meet up at Jurong East mrt with Mei Yin and Fadilah to go Kallang togther for ice-skating. I tried to kill as much time as possible before I finally decide to leave for Jurong East. I reached @ 1pm which was way too early. It was about 1.45pm when the both of them reached and took the train to Kallang together. Luckily I wasn't ove-charged for staying too long inside the train stations. We were on time! 2.45pm and the rest were nowhere to be seen! While waiting for the rest I decided to get Sweettalks' bubble tea which I regretted buying because the pearls were soooooo hard! Yucks! Then, Tiong Boon arrived and still the rest haven reached yet. We took some random pictures outside the train station. Subsequently, Shu Rong, Soo Fen, Xin yu and Serene came and we took more pictures! :D

We headed for the bus interchange for bus no. 11 and we waited super duper long for it lah! Finally the bus came and off we go to Leisure Park! Soo Fen and Xin yu wanted to have their lunch so Shu Rong and I joined in too; Xin yu ordered ban mian; Shu Rong ordered dumpling noodles; Soo Fen and I ordered wanton noodles. With our tummies filled full, it's time for ICE-SKATING!!! Whooo~ 2 hours of skating. It was the 1st time skating for some of us :) Shu Rong so evil trying to make people fall! I guided Mei Yin and Soo Fen. Wow, Soo Fen is a fast learner eh. Peter came at a later time cos he had something on. Lol, he is another baddies trying to make people fall too. Soon eveyone's tired and it's time for dinner where the surprises start...

I was blindfolded, led to do some stupid stunts outside the mall, inside the cab to Suntec and eventually reach there. I was asked to question some stranger on where am I and led further on to some child's machine. So many unglam photos taken! rawr~ Then, the final destination was inside Swensons' where they sang me the birthday song with an ice-cream cake in front of me. So sweet. I got a Topman T-shirt as my prezzie. Peter was like so generous can! He treated the whole lot of us for dinner and I'm guessing the bill to be about $200!

After dinner was time to club @ Butter Factory. Met up with more peeps: Sandra, Eadelin, Jeremy, Jason and Aaron; filling up all the slots the guestlist! Time to party! 1 bottle of Chivas 12 years, 1 bottle of wödka and 1 housepour red wine bottle. So much alcohol man~ and thanks Peter seriously for like paying for everything. Oh my it's like you'r spending too much la, I wanted to share the cost with you but you insisted on paying it solely yourself. Thank you really~! Da ge ge :D

IT'S MY BEST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION EVER. HAPPY 22ND TO ME :D

Insomnia + Inter-GESL mini olympics

Rushing home from GESL class which ended at 7pm, I quickly took a quick shower but didn't change my clothes cos later will sure sweat anyway :P So I went back down to school @ Yunnan Garden to take a look at the mooncake festival. Oh my~ it has been ages sinces I've play with lanterns and candles! Reminds me so much of childhood and I missed those times when I was still a kid :) Creating big big fires, burning leaves, fallen branches and twigs. Haha. I met up with Sandra, Eadelin, Jeremy, Jason, Aaron ( Jason's roomie), and Richard! Took some really funny pictures:

After that I needed to leave since it was already 9.30pm and I might be late for Insomnia (an event organised by NIE BSc Club). Eadelin wanted to go for her fortune telling xD I can't believe I ran so fast after the bus! I was sprinting like 200m alongside with the bus with the fact that I had not train or maintain my fitness level for so long after NS. So I managed to board it and get onto the train @ Pioneer station. I met up with Grace on the platform! Haha, it was so coincident that she's coming along too :) Great so many peeps! We all gathered at Clementi station and wait for the chartered bus to bring us around places in Singapore~ Tiong Boon, Serene, Celestine, Fadilah, Janice, Shu Rong, Jefferey (Biology lecture mate).

First stop was @ West Coast Park where we had some ice-breaking games to get to know each others' names and team-bonding games that requires team effort to complete some tasks given, ending off with a tele-match of the gliding swing! Then, we went to McDonalds' for a short break before hopping back onto the bus. That's where we saw Hall 3 and Hall 16's night cycling event and Prunella; exchanging some greetings and off we go for our supper at somewhere else. We had actually planned to eat prata or nasi lemak at the shops near the NUS campus, "The Cheeze Prata Shop" but it was too crowded so we moved on to Mustafa Centre to carry on our shopping first. Things were relatively quite cheap as compared to prices outside; bought a few things there including a little gift for my "mortal" ~ hair bleach [ wahahaha, I'm gonna dye my hair soon!], Ribena pastilles, Impact mints and The Natural Confectionary sour gummy bears. Having done with our shopping and finally its supper! I had Chicken Murtabak which was a little costly but at least it was nice.

Third Stop - Old Changi Hospital. A confidence walk as a big big group into the derserted, old building. It didn't last long as the organisers themselves were not sure with the routes. Haha~ Then to our last stop East Coast Park to watch the sunrise. While waiting, we played with sparkles which we bought earlier and cam-whoring. Awww, the sun rised behind us from the direction of the chalets so we all couldn't see. The sky brighten up pretty fast and soon before we even know it was already 7am. I took the chartered bus back to NIE along with some peeps who were involved in the games as well.

Oh my, the fatigue and soreness of the eyes, every single dreadful of tireness started to flow through me. I was still kinda "high" and almost participated in every single game despite being so lacked of rest and sleep. I wanna join the "whatever ball", try out the new sport :) Although my gesl group didn't win any games but had fun nontheless. I left earlier a little just before the announcement of the results because I was really drained of energy. Took bus 199 and met with Xinru and "forgot her name" in the bus. What's about the question with bangs? Haha.

Home sweet home. :) 30+ hours without sleep and still counting :X

Just Whack Chalet

Gosh, just woke up not too long ago still recovering from the vodka’s hangover. My head was sooo heavy and painful from the effects of almost over-drinking. Luckily I didn’t go to the point of vomiting. It was a 2D1N stay over @ HomeTeam NS chalets at Bukit Gombak...

I was having Plant and Fungi Biodiversity lecture in the morning, Critical Perspectives in mid-noon and GESL in the evening. Ahhhh, I’m stressed up about the workload of assignments and projects coming up. The 2 AEDs are already killing me with 2 group projects + 2 personal essay assignments. I have no idea how to write an essay! I know it’s very similar to a science lab report with the citations and references but I think I’ll have problems filling in the content for the essay. :( GESL adds up to another group project but at least it’s something easier to deal with I supposed. Besides all of those, reading up of the textbooks chapters for Biology and practising Math questions takes up lots of time too. I really got to plan my time carefully for each module and start bucking up. I don’t want to regret like what happened during my polytechnic days.

Classes ended @ 730pm and I rushed back home to change clothes for chalet. Then, Meiyin called to arrange for meeting up with the rest of the people who were going too. I took 174 from home, changed to 188 and alighted at some bus-stop. When I alighted I was lost for a moment wondering which direction should I head to reach the MRT. Finally after cutting through the HDB blocks which I knew little of, I linked up with the big group @ the bus-stop opposite the train station. Some of them wondered when did I came to join them, where did I appeared from. Haha, hate to make them envy but had to tell them that I stayed near.

Upon arrival at the chalet, things started to get a bit fired up :D We had our dinner together at the dining tables one of which belongs to another chalet because there weren’t enough seats. MacDonalds’! yummy~ Satisfied with a filled tummy, we played some games which further bonded us all together. The popular one was 洗牛奶，喝牛奶，很多奶，没有奶，及牛奶。(wash milk, drink milk, lots of milk, no milk, squeeze milk). We had a few rounds of Indian poker, Twister, and tong-kah.

Vodka time~! There was this drinking game using a deck of playing cards: red 1 to 5 – assign someone to drink the number of sips that’s shown on the card. Black 1 to 5 – drink the number of sips shown on the card. 6 – Thumbmaster; can be used at any point of the time whereby the user will place his thumb on the ground and the last person in the circle to do so will drink. 7 – the game of 7-Up; not supposed to say the number that is multiples of 7 and numbers with 7. 8 – the game of Big Fish! Small Fish! 9 – the game of “I never”. 10 – the game of Chucky Chucky! Bang-Bang! J – either males or females will drink. Q – sets a rule. K – first 3 Kings drawn can choose to add more alcohol or mixer into the cup. The person who draws the last King will finish everything. Soon, I start to realise that my allergy is working up as rashes appeared on my body and limbs. Sure itchy they were but it’s still bearable, I’m not drunk yet :P I drank quite a lot after 3 rounds of drinking game and I crawled myself to the bed upstairs to lie down. Jeanette, Regina, Janice, Omar, Melody and the other guy forgot his name were in the room as well. The guy knocked out on the bed while the rest were talking and I’m listening. I didn’t sleep the whole night and I don’t why I was still so awake despite drinking so much; probably because of the interesting conversation going on. Soon I was sound “asleep”…

NIE impromptu FOC

I just finished my camp yesterday which lasted from 1 Aug ~ 2 Aug. On the first day, I arrived slightly late for reporting at SRC( Sports & Recreation Centre). I got a little lost when I alighted from the bus-stop so I called Melody to ask for directions. Along with me got 3 other peeps who were lost too. Wahaha xD Luckily, we met a taxi driver who gave us a free ride down from the Canteen 2 bus-stop to SRC. The icebreaking games started and soon we got to know each other's names :) Some of us found future fellow classmates and I found mine too. Then, it was station games: water-bomb fight, 3-legged soccer, flour mat mini football and many more. In the end we all got ourselves dirty and smelly. After wash-up we got our barang barang placed inside Omar's hallroom and ready for the orientation walk around NTU.
Moments later and it was "SUNDOWN"! What's "sundown"? It's actually every year's foc fright night but this year was a little special because it's only 2d1n camp and last min prepared they still got it included in our programme. :)

I had another best scare out of my life especially the part in the lift. Oh gosh, my heart was really beating fast la. My body tells me to punch that stupid cheong sam lady but I could not because I would hurt her. The screams from the girl on the floor was really piercing and shrieking into my ears that sent tremors down. Bah, it's all over now :) Still I had fun and enjoyed it in the end. I took a short 40 winks for about an hour and woke up at 8am. Breakfast was delayed as the OGLs had actually intended to bring us to Macdonalds' but was closed so they quickly went to bought us waffles and toast bread instead. Next, we headed off to Sentosa for our next activity using the MRT. Tanjong Beach! Some guys played beach soccer while the rest settled down for some group games. Then Wei Qi wanted us to say out our cheers before going ahead with "Lunch with SP". We gave me a very bored mood and he got a little pissed :X In the end he got to every group and lifted our morale and spirirts higher. We shouted our cheers with funny movements and actions all in the name of fun :)

Soon it's time for our date and mine was Samantha. We start chatting pretty well but feeding mosquitoes at the same time so we decided to head back to Beach station to get her drink @ 7-eleven. Then, everyone gathered back at the station to head back to NTU for wash-up to prepare for SP( Special Person) night whereby you dressed in smart casual wear. We all got a drink of our choice each at the bar before the games started. First was the question and answer session of each couple testing how well both knew about each other or how well both able to link towards each other. Kenyes was asked to taste 3 different combinations of food blind-folded, Johnson was asked to sing for his SP, Christon was asked to clear a human obstacle course to get to his drink and lastly the dance competition that I'm involved in. :)

The whole camp was well though it's short-lived; memories of the moments that we bonded ourselves together will stay forever. This camp's a part of history that was specially made for us~

Math Qualifying Test (MQT)

I woke up @ 6.45am this early morning and I was feeling super super sleepy cos I turned to bed late just a few hours before. I met up with ShuRong at the bus interchange to take 199 to NIE. During the bus ride, I was still doing my last min revision on Calculus. Haha, my heart kept worrying that I'll not make it for this test. We alighted and headed for Block 7 (Science block) to find room 65. That block is going to be my most frequently used building I predict since I'm taking Biology and Chemistry. Actually I didn't need to turn up for this Math Test but still went ahead just to gauge my own standard lies.

The test started lasted from 9am ~ 10am. Oh my the questions were really tricky and challenging :S However I still manage to complete the paper within the given time. I only didn't do one part of the Integration question because I forgot the forumla >.<

So I head back home to wait for the results which will be out @ 3pm. I passed :) Cheers!
